Adaptive Compensators for Perturbed Positive Real Infinite-dimensional Systems

چکیده
The aim of this investigation is to construct an adaptive observer and an adaptive compensator for a class of infinitedimensional plants having a known exogenous input and a structured perturbation with an unknown constant parameter, such as the case of static output feedback with an unknown gain. The adaptive observer uses the nominal dynamics of the unperturbed plant and an adaptation law based on the Lyapunov redesign method. We obtain conditions on the system to ensure uniform boundedness of the estimator dynamics and the parameter estimates, and the convergence of the estimator error. For the case of a known periodic exogenous input we design an adaptive compensator which forces the system to converge to a unique periodic solution. We illustrate our approach with a delay example and a diffusion example for which we obtain convincing numerical results.

A Youla-Kucera parametrized adaptive feedforward compensator for active vibration control with mechanical coupling
Most of the adaptive feedforward vibration (or noise) compensation systems feature an internal ”positive feedback” coupling between the compensator system and the correlated disturbance measurement which serves as reference. This may lead to the instability of the system. Instead of the standard IIR structure for the adaptive feedforward compensator, the paper proposes a Youla-Kucera parametriz...
متن کاملConstruction of strict Lyapunov function for nonlinear parameterised perturbed systems
In this paper, global uniform exponential stability of perturbed dynamical systems is studied by using Lyapunov techniques. The system presents a perturbation term which is bounded by an integrable function with the assumption that the nominal system is globally uniformly exponentially stable. Some examples in dimensional two are given to illustrate the applicability of the main results.
متن کاملADAPTIVE FUZZY TRACKING CONTROL FOR A CLASS OF PERTURBED NONLINEARLY PARAMETERIZED SYSTEMS USING MINIMAL LEARNING PARAMETERS ALGORITHM
In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy tracking control approach is proposed for a class of single-inputsingle-output (SISO) nonlinear systems in which the unknown continuous functions may be nonlinearlyparameterized. During the controller design procedure, the fuzzy logic systems (FLS) in Mamdani type are applied to approximate the unknown continuous functions, and then, based on the minimal learnin...
متن کاملAn extension theorem for finite positive measures on surfaces of finite dimensional unit balls in Hilbert spaces
A consistency criteria is given for a certain class of finite positive measures on the surfaces of the finite dimensional unit balls in a real separable Hilbert space. It is proved, through a Kolmogorov type existence theorem, that the class induces a unique positive measure on the surface of the unit ball in the Hilbert space. As an application, this will naturally accomplish the work of Kante...
متن کاملH∞ Mixed Sensitivity Minimization for Stable Infinite-Dimensional Plants Subject to Convex Constraints
This paper shows how convex optimization may be used to design near-optimal finite-dimensional compensators for stable linear time invariant (LTI) infinite dimensional plants. The infinite dimensional plant is approximated by a finite dimensional transfer function matrix. The Youla parameterization is used to parameterize the set of all stabilizing LTI controllers and formulate a weighted mixed...
